At Nooitgedacht Akademie, we follow the Department of Basic Education (DBE) CAPS curriculum, ensuring that all our subjects meet national standards and assessment requirements. Our teaching is further strengthened by our strong STEM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), where learners are encouraged to think critically, solve real-world problems and develop future-ready skills through practical, hands-on learning.
Whether it is writing, solving problems or doing an experiment, we ensure that every learner receives individual attention and support to help them keep up, grow in confidence and flourish in every subject – leading to better results and a brighter future.

Afrikaans & English
We develop strong reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills in both Afrikaans and English.
These languages are important because they support learning in all subjects and help learners communicate confidently in school and in life.

Mathematics
Mathematics builds problem-solving, logical thinking and accuracy.
It is important because it forms the foundation for science, technology, finance and everyday decision-making.

Natural Sciences
Learners explore how the natural world works through investigation, observation and experiments.

Technology

Economics and Management Sciences
EMS introduces learners to basic economics, entrepreneurship and financial skills.
It is important because learners gain practical knowledge about money, business and responsible decision-making.

Social Sciences (History & Geography)
History helps learners understand the past, while Geography teaches them about people, places and the environment.
Social Sciences is important because it builds awareness, responsibility and an understanding of the world around us.

Creative Arts (Visual Arts & Drama)
Learners express ideas and emotions through art and performance.
Creative Arts is important because it develops confidence, creativity, communication and self-expression.

Life Skills & Life Orientation
Learners develop personal, social and physical skills for everyday life.
This subject is important because it supports well-being, healthy choices, relationships and personal growth.
